摘要: Summary Integrating conservation and development is central to the mission of many protected areas in tropics, yet there limited empirical evidence on effectiveness alternative strategies for ICDPs (Integrated Conservation Development Projects). We evaluate an enterprise-based strategy a high-profile well-funded ICDP Tapajos National Forest Brazil. Using survey data from participating non-participating households collected pre post intervention, we find positive impacts household income, but almost no discernible assets, livelihood portfolios, or forest conservation.
