摘要: Aquaculture is one of the fastest growing food producing sectors in world. Over past few years, aquaculture research has focused on improving rearing protocols and standards for culture aquatic organisms. Probiotics are gaining increasing interest as an alternative to antibiotics improve animal health welfare. The effects probiotics physiological biochemical development digestive tract commercially raised Argyrosomus japonicus (dusky kob) larvae were investigated. Two probiotic treatments compared a control where standard protocol was applied. growth histological studied. specific enzyme activity key enzymes determined. Amylase, trypsin, pepsin, alkaline phosphatase, aminopeptidase N leucine-alanine peptidase assayed. mean group differs from CSIR BactoSafe treatment groups (P = <0.001). There no differences between two treatments. histology did indicate slight delay when previous studies dusky kob. No significant observed any assays. effect system kob could not be definitively described it determined what extent had established gut.
