摘要: A mixed microbial culture originating from a petroleum-contaminated site and maintained on crude oil exhibited high 2,4,6-trinitrotoluene (TNT) transformation activity. Cultivation of the in glucose-containing medium for 29 h resulted almost complete 100 ppm TNT. TNT was observed with both growing resting cells. With subculturing, it found that could support growth when supplied as sole carbon source, nitrogen or source. The finding activity without prior subculture TNT-containing media is novel may have potential practical applications bioremediation munitions-contaminated soil wastewater.Key words: 2,4,6-trinitrotoluene, culture, transformation, co-metabolism, surfactant.
