Prototype development of the rooftop turbine ventilator powered by hybrid wind and photovoltaic energy

摘要: Abstract In order to respond the suggestions made in previous works, such as (1) improving design of rooftop ventilator commonly used Taiwan, (2) making “push–pull” airflow model ventilation duct effective for bathroom and (3) combining energy demands with renewable reduce consumption, this study develops a prototype turbine powered by hybrid wind photovoltaic energy. A low-speed tunnel experiment is performed investigate prototype's performance. The experimental results indicate installing an inner fan at low outdoor speed (0 5 m/s) increases rate. rate was not improved high speed. rated rotation close 1500 rpm highly recommended when fan. This also introduces general application modes proposed ventilator, their electricity specifications.
