摘要: Synopsis The diffraction pattern of liquid sulfur from 100° to 340°C, using Mo-radiation, is found have maxima at 5.5, 3.6, 1.72 and 1.03 A Bragg spacing. positions are almost independent temperature; the intensity inner maximum (at 5.5 A) however enhanced with increasing temperature. It shown that this effect may account for apparent shift “principal maximum” recorded by Blatchford Gingrich. crystallization slow sudden cooling studied.
