摘要: Ni–W alloys are used as the substrate in manufacture of HTS tape via RABiTSTM process. Theoretical work has shown that ferromagnetism a can affect ac losses superconductor. This occurs part because increased magnetic permeability, which alters induction superconductor and thereby loss. Magnetic hysteretic loss is an additional contribution to overall ac We report measurements both permeability function frequency for standard alloy Ni–5W well composite substrates incorporating non-magnetic alloys. The done using susceptibility at 77 K, frequencies up 104 Hz inductions range 1–150 mT. It how use these results predict total isolated superconducting wound coils. Some important parameters cannot be obtained with sufficient accuracy SQUID or vibrating sample magnetometer, since size limited measurements. makes demagnetizing factor large enough degrade measurement.
