摘要: Improved and simplified reversed-phase liquid chromatographic conditions for the separation simultaneous profiling of both steroidal glycoalkaloids their aglycones, having solanidane- or spirosolane-type structures, are described. The most reproducible retention behavior these ionizable compounds on C18 columns was achieved under isocratic gradient elution using acetonitrile in combination with triethylammonium phosphate buffer at pH 3.0, when basic functional groups solutes silanol silica fully protonated minimizing ionic interactions. Gradient only feasible approach aglycones. A Zorbax SB column, specially designed low-pH separations, showed good performance critical separations. impurities commercial tomatine tomatidine standards were studied confirmed mass spectrometric, thin-layer methods.
