摘要: Abstract The htpR locus in Escherichia coli encodes a regulator of the heat shock response. Cells containing htpR165 mutation are defective induction synthesis heat-shock proteins at high temperature. We show that these cells also degrading two normally unstable htpR+ cells. The proteolytic defect is manifest both 30 degrees C and 42 C. used marker rescue technique to map this locus. Although substrates partially stabilized lon- strains, we argue proteolysis exhibited by strain does not mimic state. synthesizes Lon normal rate phenotypes mucoidy radiation sensitivity associated with strains.
