D * Production in deep inelastic scattering at HERA

摘要: Abstract This paper presents measurements of D ∗± production in deep inelastic scattering from collisions between 27.5 GeV positrons and 820 protons. The data have been taken with the ZEUS detector at HERA. decay channel ∗+ → (D 0 K − π + )π (+c.c) has used study. e+p cross section for inclusive 5 Q 2 y 1.3 T ) |η(D )| . Differential sections as functions p , η(D W are compared next-to-leading order QCD calculations based on photon-gluon fusion mechanism. After an extrapolation to full kinematic region charm contribution F2cc(x, 2) proton structure function is determined Bjorken x · 10−4 10−3.
