摘要: Part of the urban concentration at Recife municipality, capital Pernambuco State, in Northeastern Brazil is inserted into coastal zone. according to census data from 2010 has a population 1.536.934 inhabitants, distributed an area approximately 220 km 2 . This study aims investigate evolution land use located Boa Viagem beach (Recife/Pernambuco/Brazil), where was realized quantitative analysis and zone considering aspects years 1974, 2005, 2011. For this purpose, were used satellite images high spatial resolution, orthophotos conducted survey. The results are information that characterizes some temporal zoning Viagem. Another important result identifi cation shading stretch determination shoreline position selected comparison with Coastal Management Act State.
