摘要: This study is focused on intraand inter-organizational communication managed by client organizations in outsourced information system development (ISD) projects. Previous research shows the importance of internal an organization when it adopts integrated IS. Outsourcing literature also notes managing and knowledge exchange with vendor. However, these two types have not been studied together, their conceptual commonalities overlooked. The proposed makes a unique contribution to studying connection between external same organization, assessing impact yet third type, client’s routine communication, behavior during project. I show why different outsourcing may require approaches process its exchange, explain building successful practices project more challenging for some than others. original theoretical this research. Quantitative analysis data collected through survey instrument will make sound methodological boundary spanning reasoning which has supported so far interpretive qualitative alone.
