摘要: This paper investigates the structure of scientific collaboration in auditing research and its impact on production published research. To this end, we model networks authors who papers 12 peer-reviewed accounting journals from 1997 to 2016. The network researchers has a right-skewed degree distribution, according which there is small number that each have many coauthors. Moreover, find small-world characteristics imply more integrated connectivity among researchers. phenomenon shaped by stars, i.e., act as intermediaries their large We also discover star affects individual productivity. results are robust when our sample expanded incorporate over same 20-year period.
