摘要: While the World Health Organization acknowledges potential of antiretroviral therapy to reduce HIV-related stigma, few studies examine nature this linkage. This article discusses connection between ART and using qualitative analysis interviews with HIV-positive adults at a rural South African clinic. The data has two main implications for ART’s role in stigma reduction: it strengthens plausibility that can through weakening HIV/AIDS’s link disfigurement death, shows enables establishment spaces support, which normalization disease.
