摘要: Prostaglandins (PGs) have antisecretory actions in several species including man, dog and rat. This review will provide an overview of current information relating to the cellular mechanisms underlying prostaglandins. Discussion by which either inhibitory or stimulatory chemotransmitters modulate acid secretion is complicated fact that interrelated pathways regulate secretion. Three deliver chemical messengers secretion: neural (transmitters released from postganglionic nerves stomach wall); endocrine (hormones, such as gastrin, delivered blood), paracrine local storage sites move across intercellualar space their target cell). In vivo parietal cell (PG) exposed many potential transmitters its function therefore it has been difficult sort out direct indirect regulators An additional factor complicating physiology interdependency exists between regulating clearly evident apparent non-specificity displayed H2 muscarinic receptor blockers. These drugs not only respectively inhibit response histamine cholinergic stimulation, but they also block food, vagal stimulation. all forms basal well secretory histamine, agents. As a result these considerations, studies cannot discern whether receptors mediating various chemostransmitters reside on PC itself, other types, fundic cells storing somatostatin.
