摘要: Cancer immunotherapy has been established as standard of care in different tumor entities. After the first reports on synergistic effects with radiotherapy and induction abscopal effects-tumor shrinkage outside irradiated volume attributed to immunological radiotherapy-several treatment combinations have evaluated. Different strategies (e.g., immune checkpoint inhibition, vaccination, cytokine based therapies) combined local irradiation preclinical models. Clinical trials are ongoing cancer entities a broad range immunotherapeutics radiation schedules. SDF-1 (CXCL12)/CXCR4 signaling described play major role biology, especially hypoxia adaptation, metastasis migration. Local is known inducer expression release. CXCR4 also plays processes. antagonists approved for use hematopoietic stem cell mobilization from bone marrow. In addition, several groups reported an influence SDF-1/CXCR4 axis intratumoral subsets anti-tumor response. The aim this review merge knowledge combinatorial approaches.
