摘要: We report a coordinated multiband photometry of the RS Oph 2006 outburst and highlight emission-line-free y-band that shows midplateau phase at y ~ 10.2 mag from day 40 to 75 after discovery, followed by sharp drop final decline. Such phases are observed in other two recurrent novae, U Sco CI Aql, interpreted as bright disk irradiated white dwarf. have calculated theoretical light curves based on optically thick wind theory reproduced curves, including This decline is identified with end steady hydrogen shell burning, which turned out about 80. turnoff date consistent supersoft X-ray Swift. Our model suggests dwarf mass 1.35 ± 0.01 M☉, indicates progenitor Type Ia supernovae. strongly recommend y-filter observation novae detect both presence burning turnoff.
