摘要: As a first step to work out an abatement plan against air pollution, local emission inventory with 1 hr temporal and km spatial resolution in the city of Izmir its surroundings was prepared. The study area consisted 200 × 170 km2 rectangle having at centre. studied pollutants were total particulate matter (PM), sulfur oxides (SOx), nitrogen (NOx), volatile organic compounds (VOC) carbon monoxide (CO). Emissions these determined by estimation methods making use suitable factors. Emission sources evaluated three categories; point, line sources. For year 2000 emissions on average day estimated as 173 tons PM, 299 SOx, 136 NOx, 68 VOC 320 CO. At second part study, calculated transformed into quality predictions using Industrial Source Complex – Short Term (ISCST3) dispersion model. Model results tested monitoring data from urban stations obtained during 2000. Results past, present future estimates region discussed. In order do so, scenarios including various control technology applications formulated see their effect quality.
