摘要: Engineering aspects of farm design is an important asset for the development sustainable aquaculture and environment. The map prepared from IRS 1C- LISS III satellite data using Geographic Information System indicated that area under was 328 ha in around Pichavaram, Cuddalore district, Tamil Nadu. Farm details like slope primary secondary dikes, seepage control measures, pond bottom slope, water spread were measured farms located at Pichavaram Nadu compared with standard parameters. Soil characteristics pH, electrical conductivity, porosity holding capacity ranged 7.51 to 8.29, 6.18 15.75 dS/m, 15.21 29.71 % 20.7 36.8 respectively. velocity drainage channel varied 0.32 – 0.73 m/sec. rate as high 5.2-13.1 cm/day soil due sandy nature. texture loamy sand loam. Village based network recommended facilitate proper wastewater farm.
