摘要: Recent advances in laser and electro-optical technologies have made the previously underutilized terahertz frequency band of electromagnetic spectrum accessible for practical imaging. Applications are emerging, notably biomedical domain. In this chapter technique terahertz-pulsed imaging is introduced some detail. The need special computer vision methods, which arises from use pulses radiation acquisition a time series at each pixel, described. nature data challenge since we interested not only composition pulses, but also how these differ different parts pulse. Conventional short-time Fourier transforms wavelets were used preliminary experiments on analysis data. Measurements refractive index absorption coefficient compared, wavelet compression assessed, image classification by multi dimensional clustering techniques demonstrated. It shown that time-frequency methods perform as well conventional determining material properties. Wavelet gave results robust through compressions 20% coefficients. concluded hold great promise optimizing extraction spectroscopic information contained pulse, more complex signals comprising multiple or recently techniques.
