摘要: Background: The mucous membrane of the oral cavity is site many neoplasms, reactive processes, infections and manifestation systemic diseases. Lesions in mucosa may be primary clinical feature or only sign muco-cutaneous Some conditions can result considerable morbidity mortality if not properly treated. Patients with such often consult a dermatology clinic. Information on diversity, magnitude burden these general rare Africa specifically Sudan. To plan for effective health services, correct diagnosis based proper investigations epidemiological studies are essential. Objective: This study aimed to explore diversity pathological nonpathological patients skin lesions attending outpatient facility Khartoum Teaching Hospital (KTH) Dermatology Clinic, also had following specific objectives: estimate frequency socio-behavioural distribution mucosal (OML) diseases; assess impact patients’ daily life activities using Arabic version Oral Impact Daily Performances (OIDP) inventory without OML; and, describe features pemphigus persons Methods: From October 2008 January 2009, all outpatients aged above 18 years clinic KTH were invited participate crosssectional hospital-based study.
