摘要: Although ventral incisional hernia (VIH) repair in patients is often evaluated terms of recurrence rate and health-related quality life, there no clear consensus regarding optimal operative treatment based on these parameters. It was proposed that life depends largely abdominal muscle function (AMF), the present review thus evaluates to what extent AMF influenced by VIH surgical repair. The PubMed EMBASE databases were searched for articles following a systematic strategy inclusion. A total seven studies described relation VIH.
