摘要: The influence of selected drugs on compensation from unilateral labyrinthectomy was studied in the cat. investigated included: a. amphetamine, b. diazepam, c. dimenhydrinate, d. scopolamine, and e. trimethobenzamide. most beneficial for improving recovery were a stimulant (amphetamine) general anti-emetic (trimethobenzamide). It is postulated they had this effect by overall activity level with exercise being known positive influence. Conversely other either little or hindered it, presumably suppressing sensory imbalance vestibular system that essential stimulus to ultimate recovery.
