摘要: Therapeutic hypothermia is rapidly becoming an integral part of post-resuscitative care for post-cardiac arrest patients, with cooling increasingly being initiated in the pre-hospital setting order to improve patient outcome. However, commercially available devices are not sufficiently portable or do provide enough power. Additionally, despite significant impact thermoregulation on core temperature change during rapid cooling, current mathematical models have been validated hypothermic conditions. In present study, a novel device using adsorption has proposed, and prototype was developed prove that concept feasible. geometrically accurate 3D model upper leg further understand heat transfer human body validate from literature. There good agreement between simulation results experimental data at 18°C water immersion, however, discrepancy observed lower temperature.
