摘要: Abstract Ultra-precision freeform surfaces are non-rotational symmetric possessing sub-micrometer form accuracy and nanometric surface finish. Although they can be fabricated accurately by ultra-precision machining technology, their quality is difficult to characterized. Surface reconstruction a vital task in the characterization of surfaces. This paper presents robust fitting algorithm reconstruct high fidelity from measured discrete points while smoothness ensured as well. A threshold named confidence interval error proposed strike balance between process. The two steps.
