Optimization of heat exchanger network in the dehydration process using utility pinch analysis

摘要: Pinch analysis was applied to optimize the heat exchange network used in moisture removal processes of energy plants. The process absorbs from natural gas using glycol as an absorbent, and recycling then separates H2O-rich a regenerator column by applying principle vapor-liquid equilibria. For dehydration plant, mass flows are properly established calculated means static model for utility system embedded based on properties gas. results calculation generate T-H composite curve that can be compare pinch assess installation operating costs target temperature. show approximately 61% total supply replaced with low-pressure steam, depending optimization exchanger process. Further, annual reduced about 17% this case.
