摘要: We report a case of optic disc drusen (ODD) associated with peripapillary polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy (PCV). A 62-year-old Malay lady presented both eye ODD and the left subretinal hemorrhage. Ultrasound B-scan red-free photography confirmed nerve head findings bilaterally. Optical coherence tomography (OCT) showed sharply elevated pigment epithelial detachment fluid. The presence polyps branching vascular network in indocyanine green angiography further diagnosis PCV excluded neovascularization (CNV) secondary to ODD. Subsequently, patient was treated combination verteporfin photodynamic therapy three monthly intravitreal ranibizumab injections. Three months after combined treatment, OCT completely resolved can cause compression vessels at that results retinal ischemia release endothelial growth factor, which may trigger development CNV or PCV. rarity this makes it interesting study more cases Importantly, thorough evaluation distinguishing from mimics is crucial for early detection prompt intervention.
