摘要: This paper summarizes the available data on prevalence of psychiatric disorders in HIV+ samples. Primary emphasis is placed studies using structured interviews for diagnosis and including matched HIV seronegative comparison groups. Such groups permit determination whether membership a given risk group, or infection as such, largely account differences rates disorder compared to total population rates. The cumulative evidence indicates that status stage illness are not by themselves strong predictors mood anxiety disorders. Risk group prior history depression appear be more strongly related.
