摘要: The present study evaluates the influence of alkaline (NaOH) pretreatment on anaerobic digestion olive pomace. Batch hydrolysis experiments with different NaOH dosages, process durations and temperatures were conducted, in which variation pomace solubilization liquid phase was investigated. effect studied through biochemical methane potential assays. results demonstrated effectiveness improving as well its biodegradability. Maximum specific yields achieved at dosages depending temperature. Consequently, it concluded that two operating parameters stage (NaOH dosage temperature) may exert a joint substrate biodegradability yields. highest yield (242 NmL CH4/gVS) obtained for material pretreated 90 °C, 1 mmol/gVS (4% VS).
