摘要: Abstract A study of the interfacial reactions taking place at a zircon-calcium aluminate cement (CA-cement) interface as function temperature is presented. The microstructures and morphologies interfaces are explained considering information supplied by corresponding quaternary phase diagram (ZrO 2 -Al O 3 -SiO -CaO). microstructure layers varies strongly with temperature. After h 1550°C network columnar alumina crystals about 60 μm in length ≈8 diameter, together ≈30 CA6 needle-like embedded an anorthite rich matrix. At 1600°C only glassy observed interface. For sample treated 1550°C, cracks deflected due to presence crystals, whereas propagate through without any deflection.
