摘要: Objectives This study sought to elucidate the optimal bioprosthetic valve (BPV) size prior Melody implantation. Background: BPVs provide an ideal “landing zone” for future insertion. To guide surgical choice of BPV size, it is important understand which can serve consistently as substrates placements. Methods A database all patients who underwent implantation at UCLA or Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles from 2010 2014 was analyzed retrospectively. Patients with existing were stratified into those a diameter ≥27 mm <27 mm. Results One hundred and sixty catheterization intention implant valve. performed in pulmonary position 52 BPVs. The immediate procedural success rate 100%. Immediately post-Melody, right ventricular artery gradient significantly higher group compared (14.3 ± 3 vs. 8.6 ± 6.8, P = 0.006). There shorter time replacement group. one patient whom transcatheter aborted due inadequate landing zone group, no (P = NS). Conclusions The results this indicate that 27 29 superior excellent intermediate term hemodynamic when smaller less than mm. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
