摘要: Abstract Studies of Leptinotarsa decemlineata larvae infected by Beauveria bassiana during ecdysis have enabled us to define the modes fungal penetration employed enter ecdysial cuticle. We observed mechanically active passage penetrant hyphae and followed growth filaments blastospore formation in molting fluid. The attack new integument its consequent alteration entry into body cavity also been studied. infection develops rapidly some which die premolt, while others are able molt. Conditions rendered abnormal due presence fungus cause integumentary injuries serve as an important factor pathogenesis since they enhance elements bacteria thereby inducing septicemia. Contaminated molt, showing no signs injury or disease, survive for a long time, until finally invades organism causes death. This postponement mortality shows that hemocytic reactions are, certain extent, effective defense mechanism. These last observations can be useful understanding pathological processes associated with hidden phase infection.
