摘要: We study the influence of external pressure on electronic and magnetic structure EuMnO3 from first-principles calculations. find a pressure-induced insulator–metal transition at which order changes A-type antiferromagnetic to ferromagnetic with strong interplay Jahn–Teller distortions. In addition, we that non-centrosymmetric E *-type can become nearly degenerate ground state in high-pressure metallic state. This situation be exploited promote magnetically-driven realization (ferroelectric-like) metal.
