摘要: Methods were compared for teaching severely retarded boys to discriminate the position of a 0.75-in. black square and press response key closest it. Seven given trial-and-error training; one learned task. The six who did not learn presented with program graduated stimulus changes. All but acquired performance, he was under appropriate control during program. When reached criterion stimuli, reverted position-based training. Six similar subjects training alone. discrimination few or no errors. Both groups tested retention performance 35 days after completed. Two had near-perfect performances showed signs days.
