摘要: Thermal analysis is defined1 by ICTA (the International Confederation for Analysis) as a ‘term covering group of techniques in which physical property substance and/or its reaction product(s) measured function temperature’. A generous interpretation this encompasses huge range and chapter confined to the specific areas differential thermal (DTA) more quantitative development, scanning calorimetry (DSC, abbreviation also used calorimeter). These, together with thermogravimetry (Volume 1, Chapter 37) are currently most widely methods polymer science, although dynamic mechanical rapidly increasing popularity.2
