摘要: Abstract To efficiently remove silver ions from industrial wastewater, powdered crab shells were immobilized as a bead form by entrapment method using polyvinyl alcohol and boric acid. The beads with 2.0 mm of diameter 11.124 m2/g surface area stable until 45 °C pH 10.0 in wastewater without untangling. In addition, the have excellent mechanical strength swelling characteristics. highest removal efficiency was 83% for can be obtained 4.0 g shell contents into beads. Langmuir isotherm model showed significant fit to equilibrium adsorption data maximum capacity 2.951 mg/g achieved at 6.0 wastewater. breakthrough point appeared around 70 (1.0 mL/min) 120 bed volumes (0.5 mL/min), respectively, 6 1.0 M HNO3 solution required get desorption 95% continuous process. Also, volume firstly reused 110 value shows possibility reuse.
