摘要: The problem of estimating origin-destination travel demands from limited observations road traffic conditions has been conventionally formulated as a network design (NDP). intrinsic bi-level structure NDP poses both analytical and computational difficulties. In an earlier attempt, we overcame the by decoupling equilibrium conditions. decoupled formulation, however, requires that counts to be available on all links satisfy perfectly. This paper proposes path-based formulation which relaxes but still takes users' route choice behavior into account. relaxation strategy intends discourage use non-equilibrium paths incorporating Beckmann's cost function objective. Both historical O-D information path times measured probe vehicles are considered inputs other than counts. An algorithm based column generation is devised solve relaxed its convergence proved. Using benchmark example, compare estimation results obtained bi-level, formulations, conduct various sensitivity analysis.
