摘要: Adhesive cell-substrate interactions are crucial for cell motility and responsible the necessary traction that propels cells. These can also change shape of cell, analogous to liquid droplet wetting on adhesive substrates. To address how these changes affect migration speed we model using deformable, 2D cross-sections cells in which adhesion frictional forces between substrate be varied separately.
