Coordination and electrochemistry of new substituted manganese phthalocyanines

摘要: A number of substituted manganese phthalocyanines PcMn have been synthesized from the corresponding phthalonitriles with rather good yields (up to 67%) and high purity. All complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, electronic absorption spectra, some them redox potentials. Three coordination forms — PcMn(II), PcMn(III)X (LPcMn(III))2O fixed for all complexes. The equilibrium three isomers Pc +· Mn(I) × L, PcMn(II) Ln -· Mn(III) 2L has observed in solutions presence organic base L.
