摘要: Abstract Five generically different signature types are identified and found to be important in remote sensing: spectral, spatial, angular, temporal polarization signatures. Emphasis is placed on the description of angular signatures atmospheric effects optical regime. Major differences between radar sensing systems noted their consequences evaluated. Relative advantages disadvantages two concepts developed compared. We conclude that highly complementary; respective often governed by interaction processes so optically sensed data complement each other instead being redundant.
