摘要: Abstract This paper deals with the study of relation between psycho-socio-biological factors and moderate overweight subjects participating to Belgian Heart Disease Prevention Project. The 8284 male trial, working in 30 Flemish or French-speaking factories, aged 40–59 yr, were medically screened asked answer medical, social psychological questionnaires. Base-line data are here analysed regard relative weight (mean tertiles weight). Stepwise discriminant analyses tertile III I introducing psychological, bioclinical variables, showed that ‘obese’ (tertile III) less frequently cigarette smokers, neurotic, a lower occupational class, more living Wallonia (south Belgium) extravert compared ‘lean’ I). Moreover, prospective studies further needed determine causal sequential effects on two factors: neuroticism extraversion.
