Phase evolution and properties of Ni50Co23Fe2Ga25 Heusler alloy undercooled by electromagnetic levitation

摘要: Abstract Microstructure and properties of bulk samples Ni50Co23Fe2Ga25 Heusler alloy undercooled solidified in an electromagnetic levitation facility have been studied. characterization showed the to consist a mixture fcc phase non-modulated tetragonal martensite at low undercoolings single microstructure containing only high undercooling. The content increases with undercooling up 170 K then disappears above 200 K. Hardness magnetization correlate differently sample.
