摘要: We studied the statistics in number of visitors to sites World Wide Web by examining usage logs covering one hundred and twenty thousand sites. found out that both case all specific categories, distribution per site follows a universal power law, characteristic winner-take-all markets. developed dynamical theory popularity which takes into account stochastic nature user decisions visit given as well fact newer are appearing at an ever increasing rate. The model accounts for observed law behavior naturally provides amplification factor responsible increased performance top performers.
