摘要: Spectroscopic (IR, 1 H-NMR, UV-visible, mass and ESR spectra) structural studies of the ligand (1E, N'Z, N'Z)-N', N'-bis (2-hydroxybenzylidene)-2-(naphthalen-1-yloxy) acetohydrazonohydrazide (H 2 L) its metal complexes are reported. The magnetic properties thermal analyses (DTA TGA) were also carried out. IR spectra prepared suggested that, adopted either a bidentate or tetradentate fashion, bonding to ion through azomethine nitrogens two phenolic oxygen atoms (ONNO). Electronic susceptibility measurements revealed an octahedral geometry for all except sliver(I) complex (6), copper(II) (7) cobalt(II) (11). elemental spectral data have justified ML, ML and M 3 L composition complexes. (5), (7), (12) (16), showed axial type (dx -y ) ground state with covalent bond character support structures antimicrobial activity as well cytotoxicity investigated discussed.
