摘要: Abstract This paper presents a comprehensive approach for identifying potential transit markets and developing strategies to increase public transport ridership. The uses structural equation modeling (SEM) identify simultaneously travelers’ attitudes, travel behavior, the causal relationships between traveler's socioeconomic profile his/her attitude toward travel. Travel attitudes are also used distinct market segments develop plans that best serve needs of each segment is demonstrated with case study from Utah Transit Authority.
