Collective effects in inelastic scattering from nuclei.

摘要: It is shown how inelastic scattering closely analogous to an electric multipole radiative transition, and will show similar collective enhancement. This enhancement vary with angle. In general, spin-flip transitions are little effected, the being found in spinindependent amplitudes; consequences of this discusscd. The deformed nucleus model for C/sup 12/ used illustrate these effects. Finally, interaction fornd factors be discussed. (auth)
