摘要: Abstract This paper is based on the underlying idea that use of energy resources in a society significantly depends their level education. Then, it hypothesized education might directly affect environmental quality by worsening at early stages and improving once expands from its certain level. Thus, we pursue an extension standard Environmental Kuznets Curve including indicator evolution citizens' empirical strategy avoid bias income coefficients and, turn, assess value as policy. An application for Australia given to illustrate this possibility using higher data large time span (1950–2014). Empirical results suggest that, most studied period, expansion rate has increasingly compensated rise per capita CO 2 emissions stemming economic growth. Moreover, only recent years, both have been proved reduce emissions. However, provided growth difficult manage, would be worth considering promoting order achieve objectives.
