摘要: A series of chromophores FTC, L1 and L2 have been synthesized based on three different types electron donors, including diethylaminophenyl, tetrahydroquinolinyl N-(4-dimethylaminophenyl) groups respectively, with the same thiophene bridges strong tricyanovinyldihydrofuran (TCF) acceptors. In particular, donor part chromophore was modified an additional substituent, resulting in enhanced thermal stability electro-optic activity. Cyclic voltammetry measurements showed that had a smaller energy gap than due to donor. Moreover, density functional theory calculations suggested molecular quadratic hyperpolarizability (μβ) value is 29% 44% larger respectively. The doped film containing r33 100 pm V−1 at concentration 25 wt% which much higher EO activity (57 V−1) two times traditional FTC (39 V−1).
