Control of a fine-grained microstructure for cast high-Cr TiAl alloys

摘要: In order to refine the cast microstructure and improve mechanical property of TiAl alloy, element Cr was chosen for alloying. Experimental results show that refinement achieved controlled be fine by inducing β solidification due addition a high content Cr. Furthermore, optimized fully lamellar (FL) one one-step heat treatment. And with optimization, tensile strengths present alloys both at room temperatures were improved exceed strength level traditional alloys, reached wrought alloys.
