摘要: We present the results of a search for extraterrestrial electron antineutrinos (ν_e’s)in energy range 8.3MeV < E_(νe) 31.8MeV using KamLAND detector. In an exposure 4.53 kton-year, we identify 25 candidate events. All events can be attributed to background, most importantly neutral current atmospheric neutrino interactions, setting upper limit on probability ^8B solar ν_e's converting into ν_e’s at 5.3 × 10^(–5) (90% CL), if assume undistorted v_e shape. This corresponds flux 93 cm^(–2) s^(–1) or event rate 1.6 (kton–year)^(–1) above threshold (E_(ve) ≥ 8.3MeV). The data also allows us set more stringent limits diffuse supernova and annihilation rates light dark matter particles.
