摘要: Abstract In this study, the optimization and implementation of a homogeneous photo-Fenton process for decolorization mineralization wastewater containing highly concentrated yellow 5 (E102) dye, resulting from an industry placed in suburbs Medellin (Colombia), is presented. Response surface methodology was applied as tool operational conditions such initial dyestuff concentration, H2O2 UV-radiation power (number lamps). The decolorization, degradation efficiencies were used response variables. following found to be optimal 5: UV radiation 365 nm (4 W, one lamp), dye concentration 200 mg/L, Fe2+ 1.0 mM, 1.75 mL/L, treatment time 180 min, 1 mM pH = 3. Under these (180 min), allowed us reach ca. 100% color degradation, 99% COD 85% (TOC). scavenging effect Cl– anion on photodegradation also confirmed.
